Hi, can you add IP camera support to a NAS device that does not have it?

It will also help me a bit if you can give some more details about what IP camera support is for and how it's used, thanks.

Thanks nasguru for the answer. IP camera's are connected to a NAS to provide home and buisness surveillance. since asking the question on this site I did some more research and discovered methods to do this. Some nas manufacturers (synology and thecus for example) have IP camera support built into their UI and this would be useful data to add to the comparison table.
